Retirement Savings Plan

Registered Retirement Savings Plan

Retirement Planning

We assist in finding answers to few questions like these: -

1. What will my retirement look like?

2. How much Retirement Income will I need?

3. Where will my retirement income come from?

Each person is unique so are the retirement needs, so we do not offer you a standard one answer, one answer fit all, kind of thing, we actually care to understand your vision for the retirement and work with you to achieve it.

There are five main phases of retirement:

1. Beginning the planning process

2. Implementing the plan and building the Retirement Fund

3. Monitoring progress

4. Approaching retirement

5. Retirement and distribution of assets

Plan your retirement

Retirement doesn’t happen overnight. Planning Your Retirement is the safest means of attaining your retirement goals and accumulating enough capital to ensure the quality of life you strive for.

Good planning means thinking about the following elements:

1. The increasing likelihood that you will spend more time in retirement.

2. The desire to achieve your retirement goals.

3. The income required to pay for regular expenses.

4. The ability to save capital and increase your wealth.

Have a plan

Start with your vision for retirement. Do you want to travel? Pick up a hobby? Buy a cottage? Scale down? Once you know the lifestyle you want, work backwards to determine how much money you’ll need to support that vision.

Review it regularly

Now that you have a plan, don’t just shove it in a drawer. Review it annually, and as life circumstances change to make sure it matches your current goals, timeline and risk tolerance. Remember, your needs will change over time.

101 Businesses You Can Start with Less Than One Thousand Dollars: For Retirees

101 Businesses You Can Start with Less Than One Thousand Dollars: For Retirees

$7.19

According to a study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, people starting their working careers will face the following situation when they retire at age 65: they will have annual incomes between $4,000.00 and $26,000.00. According to the Social Security Administration, today’s retirees can only count on corporate pensions and Social Security for 61 percent of their income at retirement. The remainder must come from other sources. If the same holds true in the future, today’s workers need to accumulate enough in personal savings to make up a 39 percent shortfall in their retirement income. The solution for many after they have played enough golf and caught enough fish will be to start a small part-time business. Detailed in this new book are over 100 business ideas that can be started for very little money and yet may provide retired people with a lot more money than they would earn being paid by the hour. This is a collection of businesses selected especially for retirees who are interested in augmenting their income. These businesses can be started with minimum training and investment and are all capable of producing extra income. Most can easily be operated by one person and eventually be sold for an additional profit. Many of these businesses can actually be started with less than one hundred dollars and some can really be started with next to nothing. Some can even be operated from home. Starting and managing a business takes motivation and talent. It also takes research and planning. This new book is intended to serve as a roadmap for starting your business. It is both comprehensive and easy to use. It also includes numerous Web links for additional information. While providing detailed instruction and examples, the author leads you in developing a winning business plan, setting up the structure of the business and accounting and bookkeeping procedures, tending to legal concerns, devising sales and marketing techniques, calculating

35 Keys to Financial Independence: Finding the Freedom You Seek

35 Keys to Financial Independence: Finding the Freedom You Seek

$16.99

In simple and easy-to-understand language, author Rich Brott explains that financially, you must “live below your means”. If you have been living above your means, you are already in serious debt with no hope of becoming debt free unless you quickly change your financial habits. If you have been living within your means, you may be debt free, but you have little or no savings or investments to carry you through your retirement. What you must begin to do is live below your means. The book will show you how to do just that.Once you’ve accomplished the basics of getting out of debt, staying out of debt and continuing to live below your means, then the next big hurtle is to set financial goals that will keep you invested in simple, well-diversified, conservative investment vehicles. The only way to reach a financial goal is to work at it. The most important step in reaching that goal is to develop a plan to achieve it. That’s why it is so important to plan ahead for your retirement and your financial future. While the idea of planning ahead and building a solid financial strategy for success can sometimes be intimidating and overwhelming, once you get started, it will become easier. With a little planning and a better understanding of what your investment options are, you too can successfully manage your money and pursue your financial goals.

After Taxes: Managing Personal Wealth 8th Edition

After Taxes: Managing Personal Wealth 8th Edition

$11.74

Maximizing one’s savings is the surest way to guarantee that there is life after taxes. The truly successful investor begins with careful tax planning, which must never be a last-minute scramble in the dreadful month of March or worse still, April! We all know that few of us actually plan well ahead, as we ought to, to protect ourselves and our hard-earned money. This book may well be the answer. Based on The Gasletter Collection, the author’s successful primer on sheltering your income, After Taxes is designed to help the working individual put in place a long-term strategy. An easy-to-understand handbook, it helps the reader wrestle with the implications of retirement funds, savings, off-shore shelters, investments, mutual funds, real estate, buyouts, separation allowances, and golden (or not-so-golden) handshakes. A must for those who wish to make informed financial decisions and better choices to guarantee a secure future.

 Aganomics

Aganomics

$5.59

So what is AGANOMICS? Well, aside from a self serving play on my last name and obvious attempt to use a familiar term associated with our 40th president to catch your eye, it is “the” answer for people who know they need to prepare for retirement but dread all of the work involved. Simply stated, AGANOMICS is a shortcut. Why write it?70 million potential readers need this book! This is the number of baby boomers that will be retiring over the next 20 year who have virtually no clue how to successfully make the transition from working to retirement. Unfortunately, today, the vast majority of financial advisors and firms are not very well versed in this area. They attempt to position themselves as “the people” who will help clients transition into retirement, but the simple fact is that they are generally only prepared to talk about investments. However, for most in retirement how well they live has little to do with how their investments perform. Why… because this is NOT where the money comes from: Social Security – 39%Continued employment – 26%Pensions – 19%Personal savings – 13%Other – 3% Source: Social Security administrationSo we have a problem…the entire industry is chasing the wrong numbers (the 13%). However, this also presents an opportunity. Aganomics is different because it looks at all sources of income and allows virtually anyone to put together a plan that works. How? Simple, it tells them what they need to know and more importantly what they need to do! In addition to examining what really matters AGANOMICS gives readers an easy to follow process that shows them, step by step, how to build a plan that they understand and can easily implement on their own… in 90 minutes! This is crucial because the reason why the majority of people do not plan is because they do not want to take the time. AGANOMICS just asks for 90 minutes…Why it will sellOvercoming the apathy and natural

Automatic: Changing the Way America Saves

Automatic: Changing the Way America Saves

$2.87

Automatic offers an innovative new way to think about how Americans can save for retirement.Over the past quarter century, America’s pension system has shifted away from defined benefit plans and toward defined contribution savings programs such as 401(k)s and IRAs. There is much to be done to improve the defined contribution system. Many workers fail to participate and those who do often contribute too little, invest the funds poorly, and are not adequately prepared to manage funds while in retirement. To resolve these problems, the authors propose that employees should be automatically enrolled into a 401(k) plan when they are hired, with the right to opt out, change the amount that they contribute, or change investment choices if they choose. If the employer does not sponsor a 401(k) or similar retirement plan, they would be enrolled in a payroll deduction Automatic IRA. This vision of a transformed defined contribution system incorporates key positive features of defined benefit plans to improve retirement security. Employess contributions would increase over time, their investments would benefit from professional management and rebalancing, and they would receive lifetime income upon retirement. These automatic features will make the 401(k) and similar plans a more effective tool for retirement saving, and they can be extended to the many workers who do not currently have access to an employer plan. In Automatic, the authors present proposals to implement automatic features in all phases of the 401(k) and in IRAs for workers with no employer plan. They also draw from the experience of countries that have implemented automatic saving structures.
